Renewable energy is a core instrument for addressing the climate crisis and achieving carbon neutrality. However, misinformation and exaggerated claims have continued to distort policy discussions and public debate.

To promote fact-based dialogue, the Energy Transition Forum and Climate Media Hub launched RE:FACT, 

an information platform dedicated to verifying claims related to renewable energy, and convened this press briefing to examine the current landscape of distorted and misleading information.
